Merry Christmas, everyone! I wish I had a great story about these shorts, like maybe that they’re vintage Missoni, passed down from generation to generation, and I wear them every Christmas or something. Nope. Not the case. They’re Trina Turk, and I simply found them on sale at Nordstrom, and decided they were the coolest dressy shorts I’d ever seen, and I had to have them. The waistband and front pocket lining is a faux-leather embossed chevron print, too. Such a gorgeous detail! And they’re still a pretty great Missoni knock-off, don’t you think?
I paired them with the Jimmy Choo OTK ‘Gypsy’ boots (last seen here), but I’m already dreaming of pairing them with my Kiki ballet flats from J.Crew for a more conservative work look, and then also with my super rad Acne Pistol ankle boots, for an edgier look. Both with and without black tights…
The shorts are on sale now… try them out with your wardrobe, you won’t be sorry!
Yesterday was such a crazy weather day — 81 degrees in December! No need for a sweater or jacket, it was pure bliss. Christmas is right around the corner, hope you are all getting your shopping done! This comfy outfit got me through the day, with easy-to-slip-on-and-off Rag & Bone Harrow booties, and my new favorite Chanel aviators (last seen here). And of course, some plaid, since it’s everywhere right now!
Today is a fun-filled day of holiday shopping, and I have to admit, I’m feeling lazy, so I used the oldest trick in the book: throw on a classic khaki belted trench, and you have instant chic!
This one is a little bit shorter in length, a little flirtier, belted nice and tight to create that ladylike flare. I also can’t stop wearing these fab Jean-Michel Cazabat pumps, they are a ridiculously gorgeous Marant knockoff, and yet strangely comfortable. You will be seeing these beauties quite often 😉
Wishing you all luck as you conquer the crowds this weekend to get your shopping done, too!
